We are opening our doors to offer excellent students in physics outstanding learning and professional development opportunities in the Cluster of Excellence PRISMA.
During an internship students in physics get the opportunity to work in one or more fields of particle and hadron physics in our research groups. Students could familiarize themselves with the research facilities, and the research opportunities at Mainz University. They also get the opportunity to attend discussions with internationally renowned researchers from the Department of Physics and to attend their seminars and lectures. For the time period of at least eight to 12 weeks our internship students support experienced researchers in the laboratories. During this time PRISMA covers their accommodation costs and reimburse their travel expenses.
